Hey!What kind of RAM did you build in? I mean 600Mhz or 800Mhz? I’d like to upgrade my 1000H, but I don’t know what kind of RAM I need. I know, all eee comes with DDR2.
i´m using a Kingston 2GB DDR2 PC2-5300 CL5 module. It´s running on 667 Mhz. I think you can buy a 800 mhz dimm but it will clock with 667 mhz. Limited by the old intel chipset used in the eee pc and other netbooks. Save your money and get a simple 667 module, i bought mine for 22 euro on amazon.
Upgraded my ASUS to 2 gb this weekend. The 1000H manages all my music and digital photography with no problems. It still multitasks as well as my full power Toshiba Satellite and is more portable.
