asus eeepc corrupt windows xp reinstall how to?
hi all.. ihave asus eeepc netbook..today suddenly my windows xp crashed ..it wont reboot in safe mood/last knwon working/normal options giving error windwos/system/comfig file is missing or corrupt ..reinstall with /r option..
however since its a netbook withhout optical drive how do i reinstall windows..i have desktop pc ..shuld i connect to it and reinstall(will i be needing special cable for that?)..
or is is it opssible to install xp from usb drive..
pls advise

Edit: Once the pendrive is ready, it requires a little tinkering in BIOS to boot from the pendrive … Contact back if you are facing an issue there ..

hit f9 as it’s booting up. It should bring up a restore menu. All the files should be tucked away in a hidden partition on your hard drive.
