well how much do you expect a netbook to give you? As far as I’m concerned, as long as you’re just surfing the net and typing a paper or two, netbooks aren’t so bad.
I’D never buy one, cause I like to do WAAAAY more with my computer, but for the person who only needs internet access and is on a budget, netbooks fit this criteria perfectly.

Yeah sure, the eee pcs are perfect for gaming, it will even run Crysis and Far Cry to with highest graphics and resolution with no problem.

Well WoW would run as good as eee pc 1000 on this, so check vids on WoW running on the 1000 to see if you’re happy with the performance.

I would recommend Asus N10 for games (more 3D card) and HD 250 or 320gb
and 10″ screen
November 4th, 2009 at 7:11 am
would a game with average graphics like WOW work on this?

Check the Asus site for resellers, or eBay to import from Japan. Not sure if this has been officially released in the U.S. yet.

Look up the specs of this thing and compare it to the Air. At $1000 less, this has the potential to stir up some some trouble for Apple. Although I do prefer OS X to Windows.

wish they did make a netbook. I really want a macbook air, but it’s so expensive, even if I buy it refurbished 1st gen. I have an iMac so I don’t need power, but the only things that are holding me back from buying a netbook are their cheap plastic looks (this one is an improvement) and WINDOWS as the OS (I would get linux, but I need programs that are not available for linux)

how do u buy it i dont kno waer to buy these eee computers
November 4th, 2009 at 9:55 am
I wouldn’t be too surprised if Apple made a netbook priced $699 with the same specs, so if it was an Apple netbook, then I would just close my eyes and get one!!
November 4th, 2009 at 10:14 am
(starts at $699), this pricey S101 shares almost all of the same internal components as the $449 Eee PC 1000H, meanwhile, the 6 Cell battery was downgraded, Sorry, I won’t buy it,
not worth the premium.
